I am logging every main meal in 2020, and this is what I ate so far (from 01 January to 30 June).

I eat too much meat

Eating meat is not a good choice. A main meal qualifies as 'meat' if it contains meat. Meat doesn't need to be the main ingredient of the meal. If it's a Big Salat and there's a small piece of chicken in it, it's meat. 'Veggie' is everything non-meat.

30.3 % of my main meals contained meat. I ate 54 main meals of meat and 124 main meals completely veggie. Distribution of 'meat' and 'veggie' overall:

Sunday is meat day. I consumed most meat on the weekends. I ate meat on every second friday, saturday and sunday by approximation. Distribution of 'meat' and 'veggie' per week day:

And I cannot cook

A main meal qualifies as 'takeaway' if it is prepared or cooked by others and ready for consumption. It is 'ready-made' if it's prepared by others, does not need additional ingredients, but needs to be cooked or otherwise prepared for consumption. It is 'home-made' if at least two ingredients or components need to be combined, cooked or otherwise prepared for consumption.

Every fourth main meal is 'home-made', and mostly by throwing 'ready-made' sauce on 'ready-made' pasta. Distribution of 'takeaway', 'ready-made' and 'home-made' overall:

Sunday is lazy day. A whopping 77 % of the main meals on sundays were 'ready-made'. At least half of the main meals on saturdays were 'home-made'. Distribution of 'takeaway', 'ready-made' and 'home-made' per week day:

Due to COVID-19 measures I spent week 12 to week 23 at home. 'Takeaway' meals were reduced to a minimum, and I tried to cook for myself. It tasted terrible, and I haven't cooked any meal since week 23 then. Distribution of 'takeaway', 'ready-made' and 'home-made' per calendar week:


Noodles keep me running

Well, every fifth main meal was a meal primarily made of 'noodles' (noodles, pasta, ramen, simply all kinds of noodles) followed by a considerable amount of 'döner' (to avoid confusion, this kind of döner), 'salat' and 'pizza'.
